Balcomo, a Ramada by Wyndham

Hidden gem in Penticton. We held a mini retreat here over the weekend. The wellness centre is blissful - the sauna is wonderful, the salt room so serene and the relaxation room perfect for co working or reading. The upgraded rooms were a nice surprise, the extra sink and mirror with coffee station made it much easier sharing a room. Looking forward to our next visit!

This hotel is an absolute standout. The rooms are spotless, modern, and beautifully updated—everything feels fresh, clean, and well cared for. The overall atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great energy throughout the property. What really elevates the experience is the wellness side of the hotel. The pool, cold plunge, sauna, and wellness centre are unbelievably good—easily on par with a high-end spa. It genuinely feels like a resort, not just a place to stay. Add in a great location, an excellent vibe, and genuinely friendly, attentive service, and this hotel checks every box. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to.!!

Hosted my son’s wedding guest and family. We had about 20 rooms. My family had the kitchen suite. Everyone loved their rooms. We hired a fancy bus to get to the venue which me is at the front entrance. The pool, hot tub, cold plunge were fantastic. Lots of space and chairs and towels. The front desk staff were great. The restaurant Local has DELICIOUS food and fun staff. The welcome event was hosted Friday night there as well as Sunday brunch. Such a memorable time. Thank you so much!!

Amazing place with a resort like feel. Friendly staff, Rooms were super nice, from the beautiful french patio doors to the huge bathtub. Best part was the hot tub and cold plunge, a must try for all. This will definitely where we stay when we come to Penticton.

Wonderful stay, we were in the tower, in a king room. The bed was so comfortable, I haven't had a good sleep like that in many hotels, pillows were just as comfortable. Our room faced the golfcourse which was nice. Even being right on the highway, we could not hear traffic. It was awesome! The room was spotless. Hotel staff was warm & friendly. Will for sure stay again!!!

Balcomo is truly a beautiful oasis in the the middle of town. The location is central, steps from shops, beaches, golfing, walks and restaurants and yet when you step inside it’s like you have your own tranquil oasis. We stayed during the winter for a staycation to enjoy some deep relaxation and creative work time, making use of the wellness centre (which is absolutely phenomenal!) and the restaurant. From the staff at check in to the amenities to the rooms (soaker tubs!) and the restaurant …it is beyond all expectation. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling or for locals looking for a staycation. It is also a wonderful spot to host events and retreats! Cannot say enough good things! Thank you Balcomo!

We are enjoying our incredible stay at Balcomo! Every staff member has been friendly, accommodating and detail oriented. The amenities are great with a new cold plunge and relaxation sanctuary that our family has used a few times during our stay. The heated outdoor pool was a treat with the ability to order drinks and food to enjoy poolside. They offer many outdoor ganes to play as well. Our family will definitely plan to return! Highly recommended!

Arrived the evening of December 25,2025. The front desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. They even had a small gift ready for guests, what a nice surprise! She let us know she had just put on fresh coffee and to help ourselves. The entrance to the rooms in the back is gated and helped make me feel secure. The room was immaculately clean with comfortable beds. I loved the decor in the lobbies that made this hotel seem like we were staying at a 5 star resort. Bathtub in our room was HUGE, could have fit 2 people. Great experience. I highly recommend checking it out.
